after the wedding.

The wedding has been officially been over a week. how times flies. My beautiful daughter Valerie is married to a smart and funny man, Robby that we dearly love. Our daughter Terra and her family were here for the wedding and have now flown back to Oklahoma. Then I went into a full blown head cold and didnt go to work yesterday or today. I wandered around in the garden today, checking to see what might be going to seed. found a few things. picked them and dropped them into paper bags (labeled, of course). then hung them to finish drying them.
I also spent some time scrapping a layout of my grandpa Chad. My daddy's dad. This photo had been laying around for a long time and i kept saying i would scrap it and didnt. SO...today i finally did. Then i made a card out of the scrap paper left over. Hope fully, I will remember to post on here every few days. I love looking at other peoples scrapbooking and garden blogs. I get so many wonderful ideas.

My first post on my first blog. I created this blog as a journal of my gardening in the spring, summer and scrapbooking in the fall winter. I actually do a lot of garden prep in the winter. I am a huge fan of Gardenweb.com where I learned all about winter sowing.
This next week most of my time will be taken up with my daughters wedding preparations. Saturday the 25th is the big day. I plan on posting more garden pics soon.
