Took me this long to post about the flea market we went to because i was so disappointed in it. We drove all the way to packwood, washington for this flea market and it has become so commercialized!
lots of sunglasses, blankets, hats, leather stuff. There were some good antique booths, but far and few.
We did pick up a few sets of salt and pepper shakers and some enamel ware. The most fun we had i believe was garage-sale-ing our way there. I picked up a beautiful vintage dresser for $35 and a small nighstand (which fell apart) for $7. The nightstand is now being glued back togethor with a stack of about 30 encyclopedias sitting on top of it. I plan on painting both of these items white. I have to finish my other projects first. I'm gonna make a few more of my bags with some differant material and see if i can sell them at some craft shows.
My friend Amy and I are going to drive to Portland on saturday for the Monticello Antique malls fall opening. Then on sunday we are going to the Coburg antique fair. So it will be a busy weekend!
